Sustainability
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is committed to creating a “future conscious” culture founded in unyielding operational execution,
an immersive customer experience and sustainable economic viability, where innovation and positive change are invited to flourish.
In 2013 GOAA’s Board unanimously approved a Sustainability Management Plan (SMP) to serve as a roadmap to reducing our carbon footprint and environmental impact through responsible use of our fuel consumption, potable water, land development, waste generation and building condition. GOAA represents both an economic engine within Central Florida and a bridge to the global community. As such, we will continue to stretch ourselves and strengthen our actions so that together we shape a positive vision of tomorrow’s reality.
This plan supports the State initiatives including the City of Orlando’s GreenWorks, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) action plan, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals outlined by the United Nations.
